Recommended. These are larger than expected (palm-sized), brightly colored, and have a solid base. While they are plastic, they are still relatively soft. They make very nice decorations!I have a rather small tank that was generally bland to look at. I decided to try these artificial grass balls to liven it up. I was very pleased that they are as vibrant as they are. The red is very red and the two-toned green has brightly colored edges. They definitely stand out in my tank.They are larger than I expected and fit in the palm of my hand. They have what feels like ceramic or cement bases that give them weight and holds them steady in a tank. They are, of course, made of plastic, but the plastic is thin and soft. They are very full, though, so even though the plastic is thin, the ball iteself looks thick. While our fish are indifferent to them, they do make the tank look nice and have not harmed our fish. I would definitely recommend these to anyone needing a pop of color in their tank.
